amazing photos by Clover Schultz-Tiedeken taken at Rochester Covenant Church (my parent’s church!) – I love this place and am so grateful for Clover’s artistry!
Thank you so much to everyone who came out and saw a show on my annual “Hope of Christmas Tour.” What an honor to guide people through stories and songs into the true meaning of the holiday, reminding us that Emmanuel: God with us applies all year round!
There were so many highlights along the 6,000 miles I traveled between Thanksgiving and Christmas, including singing carols with some of the guys at the Douglas County Correctional Center in Omaha, visiting New York City to see the iconic seasonal displays, performing for the first time in the town my mother and aunt grew up in (Watertown, SD) and meeting many people who knew my Grandpa Kenny and Grandma Bob, numerous conversations where people told me of their own hope awakening, a holy Christmas eve service spent with strangers who quickly became family at the Vietnamese Alliance Church in Lancaster, PA, and most importantly, I had some really quality time with my best friend/sister and our parents. Love them so much! And we had so much fun together! Overall, I was greatly encouraged to keep going—to never give up on my mission to share hope and reveal the gospel in creative and compelling ways. I’m grateful for the emails, texts, and facebook comments that cement that for me. I’m already planning the 2018 Christmas tour if you’d like to get on board this year, please let me know! EMAIL ME
