Do you ever find that your day starts off great, you’re full of hope and trust in God…and then you get into traffic? Or you show up at work and are bombarded with chaos? How long does your hope last? Psalm 25:5 says, “Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” Easier said than done, right? It’s easy to put your hope in God, confident and trusting, when things are going well. I’m grateful for those moments. But we all know life doesn’t always stay that way. The hard part is keeping your hope in God when things aren’t going so well. When things appear to be out of control. But isn’t that the time when we need God the most? It’s not always going to be possible to keep your hope always focused on God, though it definitely is a great goal. I’d love to hear from you and how you stay focused on hope.
